Recently, the actress returned to the small screen with the SBS thriller drama "Paycheck," where she portrayed the role of Park Joon Kyung, a former prosecutor who avenges her mother's death.

Known for her ultra-feminine image, Moon Chae Won wowed the fans with her transformation into a new character, receiving favorable feedback from the public.

She expressed her gratitude to the people who supported her, as well as her colleagues. The actress also mentioned Lee Joon Gi, her leading man in dramas "Flower of Evil" and "Criminal Minds."

Much to fans' delight, Moon Chae Won reveals that she maintained a strong relationship with the actor. She stated, "Lee Joon Gi and I, as well as our co-actors, are still friends even after the drama."

Moon Chae Won added that their group chat is still alive and during their leisure time, they would gather together over drinks and good food.

Just recently, the cast of "Flower of Evil" shared the photos from their year-end gathering on their personal Instagram accounts.

This raises speculations about the production of a new season of "Flower of Evil" this year. One fan expressed their thoughts, saying, "I think they're hinting at something. I wouldn't be surprised if they release a second season three years later!"

However, director Kim Cheol Kyu hasn't confirmed anything yet. If a new season would be green-lit, it would mark Moon Chae Won and Lee Joon Gi's third project together.

Moon Chae Won Shares Preparations For 'Payback'

Unlike her previous roles, Moon Chae Won garnered attention due to her no makeup look as Park Joon Kyung in her recently concluded drama "Payback."

She explained, "To effectively portray the situation of my character, I decided to forgo doing much makeup. I thought it would make my character cooler."

Thankfully, her character was well-received by the public. The natural visuals of the actress and the slick and neat wardrobe of her character blended well with one another.

Moon Chae Won also let in fans a secret, much to the viewers' delight. Due to the rigorous filming conditions and physically draining stunts, the actress lost a lot of "baby fats" in her arms and cheeks.

"It made me so happy. I guess it's a good thing," Moon Chae Won stated. Meanwhile, SBS TV's "Payback" concluded on February 11 with a high rating of 10% nationwide.
