Ahead of its debut on primetime, tvN's rom-com drama "The Heavenly Idol" dropped new stills to give a sneak peek of its lead stars.
On February 14, tvN updated viewers on Go Bo Gyeol, who takes the role of Kim Dal, a fangirl and Woo Yeon Woo's No. 1 supporter.
When her favorite idol unexpectedly starts insisting in the fifth year of his career that he's actually High Priest Rembrary, Kim Dal decides to be Wild Animal's manager in order to save him.
In the stills provided by tvN, Kim Dal has a funny and unusual job interview with Wild Animal's agency CEO, Lim Sun Ja (Ye Ji Won). To show her physical strength, which is a requirement for the job, she shows off her muscles and even picks up a table, despite her small built.
Since she's not content with what she demonstrated, Kim Dal also starts doing push-ups by the couch edge. Even though the CEO is shocked by Kim Dal's sudden display of strength, Lim Sun Ja begins to be amazed by her efforts.

She is unaware that Kim Dal is a big fan of Wild Animal. Sun Ja stands from her seat with a pleased expression signaling she just found the perfect manager of Wild Animal.

On the other hand, Rembrary (Kim Min Gyu) is having a hard time adjusting to his new life as an idol in a busy world where he is entirely affiliated.
However, as his cluelessness causes trouble to others, his unique charms and natural innocence becomes his strength to melt anyone's heart, no matter how much headache he unintentionally brings to his group.
As he continues his new journey, Rembrary will meet Kim Dal and be swayed by her efforts to take care of and guide him along the way in his celebrity life.
Fantasy drama "The Heavenly Idol" is based on a famous webtoon and web novel that features the story of a High Priest Rembrary, who one day wakes up in the body of an unpopular idol, Woo Yeon Woo.
"The Heavenly Idol" is scheduled to premiere this coming February 15 on tvN and will occupy the 10:30 p.m. (KST) slot.
