Do Jin Woo returned to life while Kokdu returned to the underworld. He couldn't remember anything since his body was taken over by the grim reaper for weeks.
Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun) thought of the right thing he needed to do to complete his mission in less than seven days, as Jin Woo's soul would leave the body soon.
Due to the complicated situation, Okshin and Gakshin planned something to make Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang) wish for Kokdu to come back.

Do Jin Woo, who just made his return, decided to meet Tae Jung Won.
Meanwhile, Han Chul consistently investigated murder cases. Unexpectedly, he crossed paths with Do Jin Woo and questioned him.
Jin Woo speculated, in which he immediately told Okshin, that Kokdu might not be a human. After their conversation, he paid a visit to the clinic and searched for Gakshin's mirror, realizing his body was taken over by a deity.
Do Jin Woo challenged Kokdu and even threatened him that he would no longer be able to use his body.
On the other hand, Kokdu watched Han Gye Jeol and Do Jin Woo open up to each other through the mirror. As the story progressed, after Park Chung Sung met Do Jin Woo, he asked him about the list.

Though Jin Woo is already back, Han Gye Jeol couldn't stop thinking and found herself in trouble again. Due to this, she contemplated calling Kokdu's name as he's the only one who can save her from the chaos.

Desperate, Han Gye Jeol searched for Kokdu's desk but forgot something, so she returned. She noticed that someone was following her. She then discovered that a man broke into the clinic signaling she was in danger again.

Kokdu saw Gye Jeol's situation as she watched him through the mirror. He wanted her to call his name so he could save her.
Unfortunately, it was too late for him as Do Jin Woo saved her. Jin Woo had been following her because he found out she was afraid of Kim Pil Soo. He also used the opportunity to ask Han Gye Jeol to get rid of Kokdu as he is not a real human.
Meanwhile, Jin Woo got into an accident again as Kim Pil Soo wanted to completely get rid of him. Do Jin Woo died, and Kokdu came back to his body again.
It turned out that Gye Jeol called him and wanted him back. After processing everything that Kokdu is finally back, the grim reaper explained how things unfolded based on what she said.
After hearing the truth, Kokdu went to Kim Pil Soo who tried to end his life. But Gye Jeol stopped him. They had a quarrel after the incident, but it only led them to discover their feelings for each other.
