Ok Taecyeon is known for his versatility, as someone who has been wearing different hats as an idol and actor.

On February 27, 51K announced that the "Vincenzo" star has officially signed an exclusive contract with the U.S. agency WME (William Morris Endeavor). 

Taecyeon is now labelmates with Ridley Scott, Quentin Tarantino, Tom Holland, Michael Jordan, Matthew McConaughey, director Bong Joon Ho, director Park Chan Wook, and Bae Doona.

51K Entertainment said that they are glad that Taecyeon has been expanding his influence as an actor through multiple projects, including "Vincenzo," "Hansan: Rising Dragon," "Blind," and more.

The agency also asked the public to continue cheering on the actor and his future activities.

Embarking on a fresh start in America, Taecyeon shared that after discussing with his local agency to partner with an international agency, he is excited to take on a new challenge in his career.

According to the "Save Me" lead star, "Although it will not be easy to try on new things in an unfamiliar environment, I think it is a good opportunity to learn a lot."

The heartthrob added that he will work hard to show another side of him as well as the new charms of Ok Taecyeon on a wider stage. His exclusive contract with WME also signals his potential of making a debut in Hollywood.

While the public is still absorbing the latest news about Taecyeon's collaboration with a new agency in the United States, the actor is also busy working on his upcoming series.

2PM's Taecyeon will headline KBS2's forthcoming fantasy-romance drama "My Heart is Beating," also known as "Heart Beats," alongside rising actress Won Ji An.

It revolves around the story of a half-human and half-vampire Seon Woo Hyul, who fails to become a human because of an incident. However, he sees himself living together with a woman, who has no humane side and find true warmth.

The production has already started filming, and the drama might air in the second half of this year.
