While rom-com and revenge K-dramas are a sure hit to viewers, recently a slew of South Korean reality shows are making waves on social media.

From dating to survival games, viewers got so hooked on these reality shows and even demanded Netflix for season 2.

Interestingly, there's a handful of new reality tv shows are slated to hit the streaming platform.

With that said, here are the previous and upcoming South Korean reality shows on Netflix.

'Single's Inferno'

Initially released in 2021, "Single's Inferno" is like the South Korean version of "Too Hot To Handle," "Love Island" and more except that the 8-part episode series features stunning, hot, and single Asians who are ready to explore and make the connection while at the secluded island.

Hosted by Lee Da Hee, Super Junior's KyuHun, Hon Jin Kyung, and Jung Han Nae, Netflix introduced 12 participants for the first season of "Single's Inferno."

The reality show instantly gained the attention of viewers and entered the global top 10 tv shows in a snap.

Because of the first season's success, "Single's Inferno 2" was released maintaining the host but different cast members.

'Physical: 100'

One of the hottest South Korean reality shows this 2023 is definitely "Physical: 100."

The unique concept plus the amazing lineup of participants get viewers hooked on every episode.

Among the "Physical: 100" contestants are Olympians Yang Hak Seon, Yun Sung Bin, legendary MMS fighter Choo Sung Hoon, female wrestler, and fan favorite Jang Eun Sil, and more.

'New World'

Another South Korean survival reality show was introduced in 2021 as "New World" featuring six celebrities who have to endure challenges on the fictional magical island called "The New World."

As they work through the challenges, they have to gain a virtual currency that can be cashed in on their 6th day.

In "New World" they have to make alliances and face betrayal to survive.

It includes Lee Seung Gi, Kim Hee Chul, Park Na Rae, EXO's Kai, and more.

'The Devil's Plan'

One of the upcoming series to hit Netflix is "The Devil's Plan."

Described as an "entertaining mind-game survival show" the contestants include influencers, celebrities, and more, who are about to take off their "social masks" and unravel their identity to the public.

Interestingly, Netflix's "The Devil's Plan" will be under entertainment producer Jeong Jong Yeon of "The Great Escape," "The Genius" and "High School Mystery Club."
