"The Heavenly Idol" episode 8 takes it up a notch! Go Bo Gyeol finally lets her feelings known as she becomes even more closer to Kim Min Gyu.

Meanwhile, the latter continues his plan to go back to his old life. Here's what happened in the brand new episode of the drama.

Pontifex Lembrary Bargains With Goddess Yeom Ra

Desperate to return to his own body, Pontifex Lembrary (Kim Min Gyu) desperately asks for Goddess Yeom Ra's (Jang Young Nam) help.

She is the deity of the underworld, overseeing the happenings in life and the afterlife. To help the high priest, she orders him to find the sacred brush that was stolen from the underworld in the past.

The brush could erase a human's soul and turn it into a monster, which is detrimental if used to purvey wrongdoings. If Pontifex Lembrary finds the item, he will be able to return to his old life like he wanted.

Goddess Yeom Ra then reveals that monsters are roaming around the entertainment industry, and it is his duty to take them all down.

Kim Dal Confesses True Feelings To Woo Yeon Woo

With the mission set aside, Pontifex Lembrary embodies his idol personality and becomes Woo Yeon Woo. In the previous episode, the company plans to send him to a dating program to gain exposure.

However, his manager, Kim Dal (Go Bo Gyeol), feels quite uneasy. She then reminds him that he can't go on a date since he's a high priest, shocking Woo Yeon Woo with her straightforwardness.

Unbeknownst to the latter, Kim Dal is under a dark spell that was cast by Shin Jo Woon (Lee Jang Woo), the RU E&M vice chairman who's also the dangerous Evil One.

Because of this, Woo Yeon Woo becomes even more confused, especially when the two of them talked about their blossoming relationship in episode 7.

Woo Yeon Woo then confronts Kim Dal about her true feelings for him. Fortunately for him, Kim Dal was under a spell, causing her to reveal that she doesn't want him to go back to his old life, leaving her and her romantic feelings unnoticed.

Feeling a bit braver with Kim Dal's confirmation, Woo Yeon Woo plants a soft kiss on Kim Dal's forehead and heals her from the impact of the spell using his divine powers.

Kim Dal then clarifies once more that she has deep feelings for him, not because of the black magic but because of his sweetness and kindness he possesses.
