After a good start, Lee Ji Ah's new drama "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" episode 2 experienced a significant increase in viewership.

The weekend series is the newest revenge drama that would surely make viewers hooked at every episode.

In the 16-episode K-drama, Lee Ji Ah takes on the role of Hong Tae Ra, a woman who lives in an almost perfect life but finds out her life is all a lie after learning about her past.

Joining the actress for her K-drama comeback is Lee Sang Yoon, who portrays as Hong Tae Ra's husband Pyo Jae Hyun.

'Pandora: Beneath the Paradise' Episode 2 Viewership

The series continues to experience increasing rating as "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" episode 2 recorded an average nationwide rating of 5.7 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

To recall, the pilot episode garnered an average nationwide rating of 4.9 percent, which is higher than its predecessor's, "Crash Course in Romance," raiting on its first episode.

Among the highlights of "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" episode 2 is Hong Tae Ra's discovery of herself.

In the second episode, Hong Tae Ra is in the restricted area of Hanwool Psychiatric Hospital. She found herself surrounded by a group of assassins who were triggered by her presence.

Hong Tae Ra taught that she was in danger, but her reflexes remembered who she used to be.

"Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" episode 2 showcased her true identity, which happens to be one of the group's skilled female assassins, No. 50.

She was able to escape the group but slightly remembered the face of Hanwool Psychiatric Hospital director's right-hand man.

In the episode, Hong Tae Ra asked Hong Yoo Ra if she knew who she was. Her sister initially didn't want to reveal anything to her and pointed out that it was a bad dream. But Hong Tae Ra brought up No. 50's name.

Here, Yoo Ra revealed that the real Hong Tae Ra is dead, and it was indeed her sister but had to give up her identity for No. 50.

With the information regarding her real identity, she acted fast as she set her plan B, along with her daughter. Unfortunately, the universe has a bigger plan for her.

As for her best friend, Koo Hae Soo, she received a tip from an anonymous employee of Hanwool Psychiatric Hospital and wanted to show her additional information about her deceased father. 

Unfortunately, she saw that a white van took her after having their talk.

With this, Hae Soo is losing hope that she would ever find the person responsible for her father's tragic death.
