Shim Woo Joo's Anger For Han Dong Jin Intensifies
"Call It Love" episode 9 begins with Shim Woo Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) sitting outside a karaoke bar. She learns that her younger brother secretly works there.
Shim Ji Goo (Jang Sum Bum) then talks her out of it while she dodges his sister's nagging, saying that he should go back to school again.
Things get emotional when he shares that he doesn't want Shim Woo Joo to shoulder everything, especially after seeing that she is also struggling on her own.

Shim Woo Joo becomes even more frustrated when she discovers that her brother is living with Han Dong Jin (Kim Young Kwang), the son of her late father's mistress and the man she's in love with.
Jealousy Adds Fuel To Shim Woo Joo's Fire
At Han Dong Jin's apartment, she sees him and his ex-girlfriend go on a heated argument. Kang Min Young (EXID Hani) apologizes once again for what happened to their relationship.
Han Dong Jin then clarifies that he doesn't want to have anything to do with her anymore, breaking the latter's heart.
The following morning, Han Dong Jin contacts Shim Woo Joo, saying that he's sorry for not telling her the truth about his brother.
Shim Woo Joo gets caught by Cha Sun Woo (Jeon Seok Ho) staring at Han Dong Jin. With this, the two are paired together for some work.
However, instead of working, the two talk about his living conditions with her younger brother. What surprises Han Dong Jin the most is the fact that she's not miffed with him keeping her brother's secret.
It's how she became upset after learning that Kang Min Young and Han Dong Jin still meet. Unfortunately for her, she can't tell him to stop as they are just friends.
Han Dong Jin Receives Ominous Call
Shim Woo Joo doesn't renew her contract at Best Fairs despite being offered a full time position. Jaded, Han Dong Jin tells their boss to let her do whatever she wants.
His stoicism doesn't last long when he gets a call from a hospital, saying that Shim Woo Joo is currently confined in.

It is revealed that a drunk Kang Min Young is at fault. Due to his anger, he orders her to leave. Shim Woo Joo flinches in her sleep and Han Dong Jin holds her hand as he soothes the pain away.
