Apart from forthcoming historical romance drama "Joseon Attorney," the South Korean beauty is set to diversify her acting filmography with the thriller genre!
On March 23, it is reported that the 27-year-old artist will headline the new drama "Pyramid Game." WJSN Bona's agency, King Kong by Starship, confirmed the news, saying that the actress looks forward to giving life to her role.
The drama is based on the popular webtoon of the same name written by Dalgonyak, which depicts the brutal ranking system which determines one's hierarchical ranking in Baekyeon Girls' High School.
Unlike other school's ranking systems, students get graded through a popularity vote based on how they look. If they receive an F grade, they officially become the target of school violence.
In the series, WJSN Bona takes on the role of transfer student Sung Su Ji who becomes the target of bullying due to her low status in the pyramid.
"Pyramid Game" marks the idol-actress' first thriller project since her debut in 2017. Attention is focused on what kind of performance WJSN Bona will show.
