From Hallyu queens Kim Hee Ae and Moon So Ri to anticipated series, Netflix is set to welcome a slew of interesting new K-dramas airing this April. 

It only means that viewers will get to see a series of exciting tv shows airing every week. 

While everyone gets to enjoy current tv shows that kept them hooked throughout March, here's a rundown of new k-dramas on Netflix in April 2023.

'Doctor Cha'
Release Date: April 15

Headlined by Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Byung Chul, Myung Se Bin, and Min Woo Hyuk, "Doctor Cha" is an upcoming comedy medical K-drama that depicts the story of e medical graduate named Cha Jung Sook, played by Uhm Jung Hwa, who chose to become a housewife after graduating her degree. 

However, she decides to return to the medical field after 20 years after facing an unexpected crisis. 

On the other hand, her husband, Seo In Ho, portrayed by Kim Byung Chul is a renowned doctor in the industry and works as a chief surgeon at a university hospital. 

Behind his successful career and family life, he hides a shocking secret. 

Interestingly, joining as Seo In Ho's first love and family medicine professor is Choi Seung Hee, played by Myung Se Bin. 

As Cha Jung Sook returns to the field, Choi Seung Hee faces a curveball in her life after meeting Seo In Ho's wife. 

Slated to premiere on April 15, "Doctor Cha" airs every Saturday and Sunday with 15 episodes.

Viewers will get to watch the interesting family life of Cha Jung Sook through JTBC and Netflix for global fans. 

'The Good Bad Mother'
Release Date: April 26

Following the massive success of "The Glory," Lee Do Hyun will star in another exciting team up with award-winning actress Ra Mi Ran. 

The duo will portray an interesting mother and son relationship as they headline the upcoming K-drama "The Good Bad Mother."

In the 16-part episode series, it follows the relationship of Jin Young Soon, a single mother who raised his son with tough love. 

After Choi Kang Ho, played by Lee Do Hyun becomes a successful prosecutor, he returns home after losing his memory and returning to his 7-year-old self.

Helmed by Shim Na Yeon of "Beyond Evil" and Song Hye Kyo's "The Price of Confession," "The Good Bad Mother" cast includes Ahn Eun Jin as Lee Mi Joo, Kang Ho's childhood friend. 

Lee Do Hyun and Ra Mi Ran's drama will premiere on April 26 via JTBC and Netflix. 

'QueenMaker'
 Release date: April 14

One of the much-awaited series this April 2023 is none other than the team-up between two top stars as Kim Hee Ae and Moon So Ri will headline the political K-drama "QueenMaker."

The Netflix original series depicts the story of a labor rights lawyer, Oh Seung Sook, played by Moon So Ri, who possesses a fierce personality, gaining her the nickname "crazy rhinoceros."

With her vision to protect common people and workers, she was recruited by Hwang Do Hee, played by Kim Hee Ae, to be the next Mayor of Seoul. 

With Hwnag Do Hee's skills, she will make Oh Seung Sook the most powerful woman in the history of Korea.

"QueenMaker" will air on April 14 with a total of 12 episodes.
