K-Dramas become much more exciting when the villains are unapologetically evil and mischievous!

While being recognized as the main antagonist of the story is an honor to many actors, some viewers tend to forget that actors are just portraying a role for a show.

Here are four unstoppable women who received quite the hate for their performances as the evil villains.

Han So Hee in 'The World of Married'

Before becoming a vengeful daughter in "My Name," Han So Hee was one of the most hated stars in Hallyu due to her role in the controversial series "The World of the Married."

She amazingly portrayed the role of an unrepentant homewrecker who had an affair with her family doctor's husband. While the work opened doors for the actress, she also received massive hate.

The public left gruesome comments on Han So Hee's Instagram account that the actress turned off the feature to protect her peace of mind and mental health.

WJSN Bona in 'Twenty Five, Twenty One'

Although she's not entirely a villain in "Twenty Five, Twenty One," WJSN Bona also became a target of hate for months.

She played a genius fencer and the enemy-turned-best-friend of Kim Tae Ri in the series. Bona's character was undoubtedly arrogant and selfish but avid fans of the work had forgotten that she was only acting.

Due to the immense hate that she received online, the singer-actress clarified in her personal Instagram account that she's Bona in real life and not Go Yu Rim.

Lee Yoo Mi in 'All of Us Are Dead'

All of Lee Yoo Mi's fans from "Squid Game" turned their backs on her the moment she appeared in the apocalyptic series "All of Us Are Dead."

The actress' character received the most hate among the others in the series due to her self-absorbed nature and tendency to put herself first in life-and-death situations.

Lee Yoo Mi confessed that the hate she received from the viewers took its toll on her, saying that the months of hatred almost amounted to years.

Shin Ye Eun

Last but not the least is Shin Ye Eun who took the Hallyu scene by storm after transforming into a school bully in the smash hit drama "The Glory."

From her gaze to her creepy smile, all of her mannerisms send a spine-chilling feeling to every viewer whenever she appears on the screen.

Due to her immersion in the role, Shin Ye Eun revealed that she experienced nightmares after filming. She even lost a lot of followers in her Instagram account, saying that the public didn't want to see her smile anymore.

While this could mean that they are brilliant actresses, it must taken to account that they are also human who only play roles for a show!
