Choi Cheol Woong Plans To Make Lee Doo Hak Suffer

In the previous episode, Lee Doo Hak (Jang Dong Yoon) faces another crisis when Choi Cheol Woong (Chu Young Woo) weaponizes his power as a prosecutor against the former.

He uses Lee Doo Hak's former prison mates to keep him on his toes. In episode 8, it is revealed that Lee Doo Hak has known everything from the beginning.

After learning Yeom Gwang Tak's (Han Jae Young) plans to stab him in the back, Lee Doo Hak persuades Yoo Young Pil (Jang Young Hyun) to put Kim Gil Soo (Song Tae Yoon) in line.

Lee Doo Hak then meets Hwang Chung Seong (Jeon No Min) and swears allegiance to loyalty, becoming the gang's right hand man. However, the latter also orders Oh Man Ok (Jin Yi Han) to watch the former as his suspicions remain.

Lee Doo Hak Plans To Change For Oh Jung Shin

In the previous episode, Oh Jung Shin (Seol In Ah) and Lee Doo Hak have reconciled. Unfortunately for him, the former doesn't approve of him living like a thug.

So to not disappoint the love of his life, Lee Doo Hak is willing to throw everything away for Oh Jung Shin, saying that he will stop being a gangster if she wants him to.

The two then exchange sweet nothings, confirming their love for one another with a kiss, much to the viewers' delight.

Choi Cheol Woong Learns About His Mother's Affair

Choi Cheol Woong's heart continues to sink after learning that Lee Doo Hak and Oh JUng Shin reunited.

Kang Yeon Jin (Kang Kyung Heon), his mother, learns of Lee Doo Hak and Oh Jung Shin's romance. What shocks her more is that her own son is in love with his older brother's woman.

It turns out that his mother is having an affair with Oh Man Ok. Due to his intense anger, he leaves their house immediately.

Lee Doo Hak Turns Over New Leaf

Meanwhile, Lee Doo Hak reveals his plans to leave the organization. He also wishes to start a legal enforcement business as he takes on turning a new leaf more seriously.

Oh Jung Shin also introduces Lee Doo Hak to Cha Geum Ok (Kang Ji Eun), the closest person she has for a parent. Lee Doo Hak then promises to love her and never hurt her as long as they live.
