Yoo Yeon Seok Postpones Fan Meeting Due to THIS
Yoo Yeon Seok's upcoming fan meeting is temporarily canceled.
The actor, best known for his roles in "Hospital Playlist," "The Interest of Love," "Narco-Saints" and more, was supposed to celebrate his 20th anniversary through a special meet and greet to his supporters. However, his agency, King Kong by Starship, gave an update regarding the actor's forthcoming fan meeting.
Yoo Yeon Seok's Fan Meeting Temporarily Postponed
As obtained by a media outlet, the agency announced that they are temporarily postponing Yoo Yeon Seok's meet and greet due to an unforeseeable incident.
King Kong by Starship said in a statement that the cancellation was due to a fire that occurred at the event's location.
"Due to the fire that broke out in the parking lot of Ewha Womans University last week," a representative from the agency shared, adding that it is impossible to have the fan meeting at the concert hall smoothly.
Because of the incident, Yoo Yeon Seok's fan meeting, which was initially set on April 8, "will be postponed." Fans who brought tickets would be able to use their passes after the agency rescheduled the meet and greet.
"The schedule and location of the 'Yoo Yeon Seok's Understanding' fan meeting celebrating the 20th anniversary of Yoo Yeon Seok's debut will be announced again through a later notice," the agency said.
Initially, the actor would celebrate his two-decade-long career in the industry along with his fans, and was scheduled to take place at Ewha Womans University's Samsung Hall.
The 38-year-old star was hands-on from the planning stage to the concept and ideas for his upcoming fan meeting.
Outlets previously reported that Yoo Yeon Seok has been practicing hard for his special stage performance.

Besides the rescheduled fan meeting, Yoo Yeon Seok will return to the small screen with an interesting project. He will star in the webtoon-based series "A Very Lucky Day" under TVING.
Yoo Yeon Seok will be joining veteran actors Lee Sung Min and Lee Jung Eun as they headline the forthcoming psychological thriller K-drama.
Helmed by "Hostage" director Director Pil Gam Sung, "A Very Lucky Day" depicts the story of an ordinary taxi driver Oh Taek, played by Lee Sung Min, who crosses paths with a high-paying customer. He was instructed to head to Mokpo, but along the way, he realized that his client was a serial killer.
Yoo Yeon Seok takes on the role of the cold-blooded serial killer, Geum Hyuk Soo, who offered Oh Taek 1 million won to take him to Mokpo to cover up the murder.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Eun plays the desperate mother, named Hwang Soon Kyu, who is after Geum Hyuk Soo. She wanted to give justice to his son, who Hyuk Soo killed.
