Moon Ga Young Talks About Working With Yoo Yeon Seok in 'The Interest of Love'

The South Korean beauty talks about her working relationship with Yoo Yeon Seok and says that she is comfortable around the actor.

Moreover, she is also "grateful" to be working alongside the "Hospital Playlist" star.

As for their chemistry, Moon Ga Young revealed that she and Yoo Yeon Seok have several emotional scenes so they often relied on each other and did scenes in one take.

On the other hand, the 26-year-old star talks about how "The Internet of Love" differs from her previous projects.

The 16-part episode series is a melodrama that focuses on modern-day romance.

For Moon Ga Young, the interesting element in the JTBC series is its melodrama genre,

"I'm new to traditional melodrama," she said, adding how she prepares before doing heavy scenes, "so there were a lot of emotional things to do while looking into the eyes."

There's no denying that besides the great cast lineup, what draws the viewers the most is the storyline and how the characters' lives unfold.

As the interview continues, she revealed some of the never before seen details in "The Interest of Love" and how the director included an impromptu scene with Moon Ga Young and Yoo Yeon Seok.

The 26-year-old star shares that the intimate scene of her character, Ahn Soo Young, and Ha sang Soo at the hockey rink was unplanned, adding that they did it to show "skinship based on the relationship."

"The kiss scene with Yeon Seok oppa at the hockey rink was a joke," she revealed, explaining that despite being impromptu, they coordinated it with the director.

Moon Ga Young then explained how she wanted the viewers to feel the love of their characters through a physical connection.

"I'm serious, and I think it's a responsibility to make viewers like it rather than a huge sincerity in the kiss scene," she said.

In the weekday drama, Ahn Soo Young works as a bank teller at KCU Bank in Youngpo branch. Despite being with the company for years, she never gets promoted or receives salary raise because of her educational background.

In addition, "The Interest of Love" also featured her complicated relationship with co-worker Ha Sang Soo, played by Yoo Yeon Seok, and her ex-boyfriend Jung Jong Hyun, portrayed by Jung Ga Ram.

Adding to the list of lead stars is Geum Sae Rok who plays the role of Ha Sang Soo's ex-girlfriend Park Min Kyung.
