The South Korean top star is making waves not just in Hallyu but globally as the action-crime film gains popularity. According to a media outlet, the award-winning star talks about her plans in showbiz, including her stance on doing action projects.

Will Jeon Do Yeon Give Up Doing Action Movies?

The 50-year-old beauty took on the role of Gil Bok Soon, one of the top assassins at M.K, an elite killing agency based in Seoul. While juggling her duties as a mother and a hired killer, she managed to score a 100 percent success rate in her missions.

During her interview with Spotify News, Jeon Do Jeon admitted that playing the role of Gil Bok Soon was challenging, specifically the action scenes.

Moreover, the actress, who considered herself not a full-fledged action star, shared that despite the circumstances, she tried to perfectly deliver her role, to which she did.

Viewers were in awe of how Jeon Do Yeon portray the female assassin.

However, she hints that "Kill Bok Soon" might be her last action movie.

"I graduated from action films," she said but cleared that she is not closing doors for doing projects like the Netflix series.

"I think I did enough, but I won't say I won't do it in the future," she said, before adding how "hard" it is to film an action movie.

Moreover, Jeon Do Yeon also mentioned that the Netflix series is most of the cast members' first time doing an action project.

'Kill Bok Soon' Enters Netflix Top 10 TV Shows

Released on March 31, the action-crime film immediately gained the attention of viewers as it featured an interesting character and intriguing plot.

According to Flix Patrol, a streaming data aggregator platform, Jeon Do Yeon's movie took first place in the Global Top 10 Movie under the non-English category.

Apart from it, "Kill Bok Soon" also ranked third in the top 10 TV shows worldwide, next to "Murder Mystery" seasons 1 and 2, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston.

As of April 4, the Netflix original movie ranked first in various countries like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Besides the Netflix rankings, "Kill Bok Soon" also gained a 77 percent rate at Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregator that critics films and tv shows.

Over the comment section, viewers lauded the "real flair" of sequences that director Byun Sung Hyun shown in the action thriller movie.
