Netflix and fans of Korean cinema are excited about "Project Y," a movie headlined by Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo. The movie, directed by Lee Hwan, is scheduled to make its premiere on January 21, and it just dropped character posters that tease a compelling crime-entertainment story.

According to Allkpop, the movie traces Mi Seon's life, played by Han So Hee, and Do Kyung, played by Jeon Jong Seo, as they live life on the edge and embark on a perilous journey with stolen black money and gold bars. "Project Y" showcases characters who "find themselves at the edge of life's cliff" and light up a series of thrilling events.
The cast and crew have garnered praise both for their performances and cinematic pedigree. Dispatch reported the film first premiered in the "Special Presentation" section at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, then received an official invitation to the 30th Busan International Film Festival, and won Best Film at the 10th London Asian Film Festival.
Character posters show the personality of each lead through key quotes. Han So Hee is featured running in a flashy fur jacket with the line, "If this goes wrong, we could really die,," highlighting the dangerous situation her character finds herself in.

One night on a cold street, Jeon Jong Seo appears, looking into the distance. He says, "If we're going for it, we go hard," which means that his character is ready to make huge risks and change his life.
But the promotional materials do not disappoint with the supporting cast as well. Kim Shin Rok as Ga Young and Jung Young Joo as Hwang So exude intensity, while YooA as Ha Kyeong delivers a line that really outlines her first acting role, "Get a grip, I'm your owner."
Kim Sung Cheol as Chief Toh completes the set with, "It's time to end this."" Project Y," with its high-octane crime story, commanding performance by the lead cast, and vigor from youngest stars like YooA, is easily predicted to become one of Korea's most anticipated movies of early 2026.
Additionally, with renowned actors like Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo starring in such a dramatized narrative filled with thrill, explosive action and heartfelt connections, fans should expect an exciting experience when watching "Project Y" in theaters around the globe come January.
