Kim Young Kwang Expresses Gratitude To 'Call It Love' Supporters

With the final week of "Call It Love," Kim Young Kwang took the time to show his gratitude to his beloved fans!

In an interview with a media outlet, the "Call It Love" actor recalled his most memorable moments in the series as well as his undeniable chemistry with close friend Lee Sung Kyung. 

"Call It Love" depicts the turbulent romance between two people who weren't meant to fall in love. In the series, Kim Young Kwang becomes a man full of woe who harbors feelings for someone who wants to take him down. 

The actor was able to showcase his flawless acting through the work. Kim Young Kwang also diversified his career spectrum with the sentimental genre.

According to the actor, "Call It Love" was a huge challenge in his career as it depicted the different kinds of love that exhausted his character, making him miserable throughout his life.

However, the great feedback and high praises motivated the actor to do his best. Kim Young Kwang said, "It's such a boost of confidence to receive compliments from the people I respect and adore. I will never forget that feeling. 

Kim Young Kwang Praises Co-Star Lee Sung Kyung's Performance

"Call It Love" marked Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sung Kyung's first acting project together.

The two were already close prior to the drama as they both began their careers as models. This gave them an advantage in acting comfortably with no dull moments.

Their closeness even sparked dating rumors that also duped their director but the actors clarified that they're just friends. However, Kim Young Kwang admitted that Lee Sung Kyung does possess some of the traits she looks for in a woman.

With this, Kim Young Kwang praised the actress for her immersive and emotional acting that Lee Sung Kyung hasn't done in any of her previous works before.

"Lee Sung Kyung's mature acting was impressive. She was undoubtedly excellent," the actor said. "I'm grateful to be partnered with her through the work." 

Kim Young Kwang also shared that he's willing to act with his co-star again, preferably in a romantic comedy setting to showcase their impeccable chemistry and real-life closeness.
