Lee Doo Hak Returns To South Korea

At the end of the previous episode, it is revealed that Lee Doo Hak (Jang Dong Yoon), who was shot and left for dead, was alive after being saved by Choi Dong Pal (Kim Byung Ki).

Three years have passed and he still hasn't returned home. Lee Doo Hak stayed in Japan and lived as a thug with Choi Dong Pal while sharpening his fighting skills.

Coincidentally, Choi Cheol Woong (Chu Young Woo), his conniving younger brother, is on a business trip in Japan.

In episode 12, Lee Doo Hak returns to South Korea as Lee Hyung Guk with the intention to avenge himself and the painful demise of his late father.

Oh Jung Shin Turns Down Choi Cheol Woong

Oh Jung Shin (Seol In Ah) tries to get by while her heart continues to be in pain due to Lee Doo Hak's disappearance. To commemorate their love, she reopens her family's theater.

Choi Cheol Woong, who still tries to win her heart over, helps rebuild the theater. Despite being rejected by her childhood friend, his concern and affection for her continue to grow.

His heart swells when he sees Oh Jung Shin. He then runs and gives her a hug from behind, telling her how he had missed her. They share an ardent embrace while crying their hearts out.

Lee Doo Hak Reunites With Oh Jung Shin

Lee Doo Hak promises Oh Jung Shin to never leave her side. However, he asks her to keep his identity and existence as a secret, raising curiosity.

At the end of the episode, Lee Doo Hak reveals that he wants to get revenge on Choi Cheol Woong and the people who did him wrong from the beginning.
