‘Family: The Unbreakable Bond’ Episode 1 Kicks Off With Good Start
The long wait is over for Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk's much-awaited team-up in "Family: The Unbreakable Bond," which has officially premiered.
Released on April 17, the rom-com series is the duo's reunion project since the 2014 hit K-drama "Fated to Love You."
Nine years after the beloved series, the duo is back as they portray a married couple in "Family: The Unbreakable Bond."

The 12-part episode series joins the race for the Monday and Tuesday slots.
Viewers could watch Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara's K-drama via tvN and TVING.
As mentioned by a media outlet, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 4.9 percent for "Family: The Unbreakable Bond," episode 1.
It is higher by 0.7 percent than its predecessor's rating after "Our Blooming Youth" concluded the season with a nationwide average rating of 4.2 percent.
'Family: The Unbreakable Bond' Episode 1 Highlights
Helmed by Jang Jung Do of "Dear My Room" and Lee Jung Mook of "Our Blue," "Family: The Unbreakable Bond" depicts the story of a couple who live a double life.
Jang Hyuk played the role of top secret agent Kwon Do Hoon, who works as an ordinary office employee at a reading company, but in reality, he is an expert sniper who is on a mission.
Interestingly, he exudes a great father and husband figure at home, along with his wife Kang Yoo Ra, played by Jang Nara.
Joining the duo is the veteran actor Lee Soon Jae as Do Hoon's father, Kwon Woong Soo, as well as Chae Jung An as Manager Oh Cheon Ryun, and Kim Nam Hee as Tae Goo.
"Family: The Unbreakable Bond" starts with Kwon Do Hoon, who missed his wedding anniversary celebration because of a secret mission.
Frustrated by her husband, she went on a trip alone to celebrate their 10th anniversary, causing chaos in their marriage.

To make it up for her, Do Hoon picked up his wife at the airport as he tried to patch things up.
He even shaved his eyebrow to show how sincere he is with his apology.
Interestingly, "Family: The Unbreakable Bond" episode 1 also featured a special appearance from Cha Tae Hyun, who is also close with Jang Hyun in real life.
In the rom-com K-drama, he played Kwon Do Hyun's best friend and bakery owner.
He made a cake, especially as requested by Do Hyun, as his peace offering for Kang Yoo Ra.
To recall, both stars are members of the "Dragon Club," a name that fans gave to celebrity friends Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Jong Kook, Jang Hyuk, Hong Kyung Min, and Hong Kyung In, who were all born in 1976.
