Song Joong Ki shared on his Instagram account that he is preparing for his upcoming action film "My Name is Loh Kiwan," and its principal filming was held in Hungary.
The actor plays the titular role, a North Korean defector who fights for his life in an unfamiliar country. He then finds salvation after meeting a Korean-born Belgian woman, and eventually falls in love.
"My Name is Loh Kiwan" also stars Choi Sung Eun and Jo Han Chul, and it is expected to be released in the first half of 2024 on Netflix.
On the other hand, Song Joong Ki is invited to attend the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year after his film "Hopeless" is named to be a competitor in the Un Certain Regard category.
The 76th Cannes Film Festival will be held in May in France, and Song Joong Ki is expected to walk the red carpet with his beloved wife.
