‘Dr Romantic 3’ Introduces Doldam Family + Viewers Notice THIS Missing Character in Upcoming Sequel
A week before its highly-anticipated premiere, SBS teased viewers with an official poster featuring the "Dr. Romantic 3" cast.
The medical K-drama, which stars Han Suk Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, and more, is set to make a comeback to deliver heartwarming and thrilling episodes every weekend.
Interestingly, SBS updated viewers as the network introduced the returning and new members of Doldam Hospital staff.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Official Poster Showcases Doldam Family
On April 20, SBS released another official poster, presenting the 17 staff members of the beloved Doldam Hospital.
Han Suk Kyu, who plays Teacher Kim (also known as Kim Sa Bu), a once famed legendary doctor, is surrounded by his juniors, nurses, and staff.
Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Seong Kyung, Kim Min Jae, Jin Kyung, Lim Won Hee, Byeon Woo Min, Kim Joo Heon, Yoon Na Mu, Shin Dong Wook, Yoon Bo Ra, Jung Ji An, So Joo Yeon, and Ko Sang Ho are set to reprise their roles.
Adding to the list of "Dr. Romantic 3" cast members are newcomers Lee Kyung Young, Lee Shin Young, and Lee Hong Nae, who are all portraying as doctors at Doldam Hospital.
Unlike the previous teasers, the newly-released official poster conveys a family-like vibe that hints at more heartwarming stories between the characters.
Over the comments section, viewers and fans express that they can't wait to see the premiere as the beloved staff of Doldam Hospital gets reunited.
However, some fans think that the upcoming season might not feature a fan-favorite character, as Mr. Gu, played by Lee Gyu Ho, is not included in the teaser.

After three years since the medical K-drama concluded its second season, viewers are looking forward to SBS releasing its third installment.
Interestingly, it gets the green light with the majority of the cast reprising their roles.
As mentioned, Han Suk Kyu will continue the iconic doctor, Teacher Kim, along with Cha Eun Jae, played by Lee Sung Kyung, and Seo Woo Jin, portrayed by Ahn Hyo Seop.
Viewers will get to see the reunion of Doldam Hospital staff as the K-drama airs on April 28. The medical drama, with 16 episodes in total, will be the newest series to air on Friday and Saturday.
"Dr. Romantic 3" will focus on the Regional Trauma Center, established by Kim Sa Bu. To recall, the second season's finale hinted that Teacher Kim wanted to create a trauma center for Doldam hospital.
It means that the third installment might feature more intense episodes surrounding the regional trauma center and the action inside the emergency room.
