Several hit K-dramas have concluded the season with a bang, as broadcast networks and OTT platforms are set to introduce new K-dramas this May 2023. 

While a new month is just around the corner, a series of interesting and entertaining K-dramas are about to hit the small screens soon. 

From the all-time favorite rom-com to workplace dramas, down to sci-fi series, viewers will get to see an array of shows this May. 

'My Perfect Stranger'

Welcoming the month is the fantasy romance drama "My Perfect Stranger," which stars Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo.

It tells the story of two individuals who get lost in the past and end up in 1987 after experiencing time travel.

While stuck in a familiar situation, Yoon Hae Joon, (Kim Dong Wook), who works as an anchor at a broadcasting company, wants to uncover a murder case. 

On the other hand, Baek Yoon Young (Jin Ki Joo), an employee at a publishing company, 

attempts to stop her parents from getting married.

"My Perfect Stranger"  is scheduled to premiere on May 1, airing every Monday and Tuesday.

The upcoming fantasy drama series will be available on KBS2 and Viu TV.

'All That We Loved'

After joining the cast of "Now, We Are Breaking Up," EXO's Sehun is back on the small screen with the upcoming K-drama "All That We Loved."

The story focuses on the lives of two young men who grew up as close friends; however, their lifelong friendship was put to the test after they fell for the same person. 

Joining EXO's Sehun as lead stars are Jo Joon Young from "Idol: The Coup" and rookie actress Jang Yeo Been. 

"All That We Loved" will air on May 5 through TVING. 

'Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938'

One of the most anticipated K-dramas premiering this May 2023 is the comeback of Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum's team-up in "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938."

Apart from the lovely duo, viewers will get to see new faces, including Kim So Yeon and Ryu Kyung Soo.

For "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" season 2, Lee Dong Wook will return as 

gumiho Lee Yeon. The same goes for Kim Bum who will reprise his role as Lee Yeon's half brother, Lee Rang. 

The upcoming sequel will focus on the year 1938, when they are set to meet the former mountain goddess Ryu Hong Joo. 

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" will air on May 6, with 12 episodes for the new season, and will be available on tvN. 

'Black Knight'

Joining new K-dramas for May 2023 is Netflix's "Black Knight."

Kim Woo Bin is set to make a bold comeback as he stars in a dystopian series set in the future.

He will transform into the Black Knight, also known as a delivery driver who meets a refugee and turns into a knight like him.

The Black Knight" release date is set for May 12, with 6 episodes available exclusively on Netflix.
