The award-winning actress looked as young as ever as she graced The Neighbor Magazine's shoot. Who would have thought that Kim So Yeon is in her 40s? The actress showed off her slender body, flaunting her own take on Y2K fashion.

Wearing cropped tops and low rise bottoms, the 42-year-old beauty left fans in awe of her head-turning visuals.

As Kim So Yeon shared the photos on her Instagram, fans and fellow celebrities couldn't help but gush over her stunning look.

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" co-stars Kim Bum commented with a heart-eyed emoji, while Kim Yong Ji finds the photos "really, really cute."

The same goes for co-star Hwang Hee, who was stunned by Kim So Yeon's beauty and wrote "W O W."

In an interview conducted by the publication, Kim So Yeon talked about her upcoming K-drama and how she keeps challenging herself.

With her new look, the actress expressed that she wanted to convey a different image with her work. For her shoot for The Neighbor Magazine, the actress wanted to showcase her idol-like visuals.

"I wanted to try a fashion pictorial with a hip atmosphere like an idol," she said, as obtained by a media outlet, adding that it would be her "life pictorial."

As for her K-drama comeback, she confessed being a fan of fantasy genres and mentioned that she enjoyed watching the first season of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed."

Moreover, she revealed that she watched it during his break from filming the hit K-drama "The Penthouse."

Kim So Yeon will be joining "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" season 2 along with original cast members Kim Bum, Lee Dong Wook, and more.

Interestingly, "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" is her comeback to the small screen after "The Penthouse: War in Life."

Replacing Jo Bo Ah as the female lead, the 42-year-old beauty transformed into the mountain goddess of the west named Ryu Hong Joo, along with three other guardian spirits who reigned over the Korean peninsula.

However, in her present life, she is the owner of a top-scale restaurant.

As tvN teases viewers with the transformation of Kim So Yeon together with Kim Bum and Lee Dong Wook, "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" will premiere on May 6, and will air every Saturday and Sunday.

Besides "The Penthouse," Kim So Yeon starred in several hit K-dramas like "All About Eve," "Iris," and more. She established herself as one of the most sought-after versatile stars in Korea.

When asked about her continued success in showbiz, Kim So Yeon said she is "grateful" for the support and back-to-back projects.

Despite receiving various awards, she admitted that she still feels nervous when acting, just like she felt during her first year of her debut.

In addition, Kim So Yeon shared that when she read the script, she felt a certain "joy and a will" to be in front of the camera.
