Cha Eun Woo’s Agency Releases Strict Guidelines Regarding Actor’s Arrival in Thailand

Cha Eun Woo's agency, Fantagio, released guidelines regarding the actor's participation in the upcoming event called "KonnecThai," or Korea Connect Thai Culture & Business Festival.

As obtained by the media outlet, the label shared a notice on ASTRO's official fan cafe noting the actor's departure for his trip to Thailand.

In a statement, Fantagio politely asked fans "to refrain from visiting the airports when the artist enters or leaves the country." The post added that flight schedules are undisclosed since filming and visits are also prohibited.

"We ask for your understanding for the safety of the artist and everyone else," the post concluded.

On April 24, days after the passing of his fellow ASTRO member Moonbin, Prestige Entertainment, an organization behind the event "KonnecThai," released a statement confirming the participation of Cha Eun Woo.

The organization shared in a post that the actor's "emotions are the most important factor," adding that they will ensure to do their best to accommodate him,  along with other artists and fans who will attend the event.

"The concept of Cha Eun Woo's show will be modified, by focusing primarily on the artist's emotional state," the statement added.

"KonnecThai" will start the event on April 29 with a press conference and red carpet, followed by the main event on the 30th.

Joining Cha Eun Woo are Thai-English actor and singer Jeff Satur, and actor and singer Billkin, also from Thailand.

"KonnecThai" will be Cha Eun Woo's first event following the passing of fellow ASTRO member Moonbin, who died on April 24, at his home in Gangnam, Seoul. Authorities have concluded that Moonbin's death was the result of an extreme decision.

After the tragic news, Cha Eun Woo, who at the time was in the United States, immediately flew back to South Korea to attend the wake.

Cha Eun Woo Drama: Idol-Actor Headlines Webtoon-Based K-Drama

After his K-drama comeback "Island," Cha Eun Woo will star in another interesting series. Based on the webtoon of the same name, "A Good Day to be a Dog" is a comedy-fantasy series helmed by Kim Dae Woong of the 2018 movie "LOVE+SLING."

The idol-actor will work alongside Park Gyu Young of "Sweet Home" and Lee Hyun Woo of "Money Heist: Korea."

According to reports, the upcoming series will premiere in the second half of 2023.

On the other hand, Cha Eun Woo received an offer to star in an upcoming crime series, titled "Bulk," but turned down the offer, as mentioned by a media outlet.
