‘Dr Romantic 3’ Cameos That Viewers Wants to See: Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Hye Soo, More

"Dr. Romantic 3," which stars Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung, started the season with massive success after landing the first episode with a double-digit rating.

The beloved medical K-drama depicts the story of a legendary surgeon named Kim Sa Bu, who chose to work at a shabby countryside hospital after getting involved in a controversy.

At the hospital called Doldam, he met a new breed of doctors who shared the same passion and dedication to their careers.

The medical K-drama not only featured a slew of familiar faces, showcasing the actors who reprised their roles, but also new cast members joining the Doldam Hospital family.

After three years, viewers get to see the heartfelt stories and drama of Kim Sa Bu and the rest of the staff at Doldam alongside their patients.

Interestingly, as "Dr. Romantic 3" airs its second episode, fans get to see familiar faces from "Extraordinary Attoryney Woo."

From being law practitioners in the ENA series, Joo Jong Hyuk, Ha Yoon Kyung, Joo Hyun Young, and Moon Sang Hoon made a special cameo and appeared as applicants for the hospital's trauma center.

Following the brief appearance of a star-studded episode, viewers expressed their desire to see more cameo roles in "Dr. Romantic 3."

Yoo Yeon Seok

Ahead of the premiere of the SBS K-drama, rumors sparked that Yoo Yeon Seok would have a special appearance in one of the episodes of "Dr. Romantic 3."

However, a drama representative has responded and clarified that his cameo has yet to be confirmed.

With this, fans are hopeful to see Yoo Yeon Seok reprise his role as doctor Kang Dong Joo, who is a part of the first season of "Dr. Romantic."

Kim Hye Soo

In "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 2, Cha Eun Jae's father, visited Kim Sa Bu's office and saw an interesting photo.

Teacher Kim was smiling brightly beside Lee Young Jo, played by Kim Hye Soo.

The actress appeared in season 1's episode 20 and played Kim Sa Bu's first love.

With this, viewers are speculating that it might be a hint that Kim Hye Soo will have a cameo appearance in season 3.

Seo Hyun Jin

Besides Yoo Yeon Seok, one of the original cast members of "Dr. Romantic" is Seo Hyun Jin, who played Yoon Seo Jung, a skilled surgeon and one of Kim Sa Bu's trainees.

She left Doldam Hospital after being qualified to be part of a scholarship abroad.

Unfortunately, she failed to join the season due to a schedule conflict.

On the other hand, season 1 co-star Yang Se Jong, who took on the role of arrogant Do In Bum, had a special cameo in season 2 and played Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae's senior.
