EXO Doh Kyungsoo's 'The Moon' To Premiere This Summer
The long anticipated space film "The Moon" starring EXO Doh Kyungsoo and Sol Kyung Gu is finally coming to the theaters!
On May 4, film distributor CJ ENM finally announced its premiere date, two years after its production was revealed to the public.
"The Moon" depicts the lonely life of an astronaut who was left alone in space and another determined man on Earth who desperately tries to save him.
EXO Doh Kyungsoo takes on the role of Sun Woo, a stranded astronaut who lives in space over 4 million kilometers away from Earth. Sol Kyung Gu, on the other hand, plays Jae Guk, a former space center director who hops on a journey to rescue Sun Woo.

Legendary actress Kim Hee Ae also joins the cast as Moon Young, the International Space Station chief director who connects the two men together.
Helmed by "Along With the Gods" film series director Kim Yong Hwa, "The Moon" is expected to create a worthwhile watching experience that will take viewers to space through high quality CGI and realistic film effects.

The teaser piques viewers' interest as it depicts Sun Woo's immense desperation and cry for help. His Mayday call sparks curiosity as to what kind of dramatic survival will be shown in the upcoming film.
Moreover, the film is expected to take the viewers in an out-of-this-world experience by showing how an individual survives in a secluded, cold and uncharted realm of space.
In addition to that, the poster captures Sun Woo's determination to return home as he stands on the Moon's surface.
