The Hallyu industry has released countless romance, horror and thriller series over the first quarter of the year.

However, some viewers may not like the genre for its challenging narratives and intricate plots. If you're looking for family-centered dramas to watch, then this is for you!

Here are five worthy recommendations of family K-Dramas that you might love. Keep on reading to know more.

'Call It Love'

Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwang's "Call It Love" is a new addition to the collection of amazing dramas this 2023.

The two stars made every viewer laugh and weep as the story depicts the complicated romance between a man and a woman who were fated to become enemies because of their past connections.

It also showed the painful concepts of grief, disappointments, failures, acceptance and familial bonds, which many people can relate to.

'Crash Course in Romance'

While "Call It Love" tugs the hearts of the viewers, Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho's "Crash Course in Romance" offers a cider-like drama that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

It focuses on the love story of a Mathematics instructor and a side dish shop owner who find love amidst the busy environment of the education entrance exam preparations.

'Our Blues'

Set in the beautiful island of Jeju, the star-studded series "Our Blues" follows the simple lives of village folks, their personal dilemmas, failures and successes.

It stars Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won, Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Byung Hun and rookie actors Noh Yoon Seo and Bae Hyun Sung, who are now creating a name for themselves.

What makes "Our Blues" unique is its uncensored depiction of life, friendship, betrayal, mental health issues, abortion and more topics that are a taboo in South Korea.

'The Good Bad Mother'

In Lee Do Hyun, Ra Mi Ran and Ahn Eun Jin's "The Good Bad Mother," viewers are given a different perspective of the trio who have only been seen in jovial works before.

The dramedy tells the story of a mother who gets dragged into the past after her adult son becomes child-like again due to an unforeseen accident.

Ra Mi Ran perfectly portrays the tough love that many tiger parents show their children while Lee Do Hyun delivers resonance to viewers through his independent and callous character.

She paints the lives of career women who are juggling their time as workers and mothers despite the lack of appreciation from everyone around them.
