'Dr Romantic 3' Episode 5: Doldam Encounters First Big Crisis
"Dr. Romantic 3" episode 5, surprised viewers with an unexpected twist as Han Suk Kyu and the rest of the Doldam staff faced one of the biggest challenges they had.
The weekend K-drama depicts the story of Kim Sa Bu, a legendary surgeon who chose to work at a shabby hospital in the countryside after getting caught up in office politics, causing his name to get tainted.
It is also the reason why he chose to use Kim Sa Bu, or teacher Kim, instead of his real name, Boo Yong Joo.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 5 Viewership
The medical K-drama maintained its reign as the most-watched miniseries to air this week after scoring a slight increase in rating.
From its previous episode rating of 12.3 percent, "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 5 garnered an average nationwide rating of 13.4 percent.

Apart from the main characters, episode 5 focuses on the supporting cast, including E.R. doctor Jung In Soo.
After Dr. Cha Jin Man, the new head of the trauma center, named selected doctors and staff to join him, Seo Woo Jin has decided to stay at Doldam and work with Kim Sa Bu.
This made Cha Jin Min disappointed, prompting him to be labeled "Kim Sa Bu's minion."
Thankfully, he was encouraged by Kim Sa Bu to work with the new head after giving him a tough love confrontation.
On the other hand, the trauma center encountered a big crisis after an emergency case involving a male teenager and two bodyguards was rushed to the hospital.

Dr. Jung In Soo took care of two critical patients and transferred them to Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae for emergency operations.
However, he seemed to forget the teenage patient, who happens to be the son of an Assemblyman.
As Cha Eun Jae checked the patients, she saw the teenage boy, who looked unconscious. She performed emergency CPR, hoping to revive the patient. Unfortunately, he died at the hospital due to cardiac arrest.
At this point, Dr. Jung was devastated since he knew that it was his fault.
However, Dr. Cha Ji Min turned the tables, defending the doctors at the trauma center against the politician's accusation.
The news reached Kim Sa Bu, who personally apologized to the grieving mother. The assemblyman says she will not sue the hospital but plans on looking into the death of her son.
Dr. Jung heard the conversation and plans on taking full responsibility for the incident.
At this point, Kim Sa Bu was disappointed in the doctor, which raised the question of whether he would be out of Doldam or not.
