The year 2023 is about to enter its second half already, and broadcast networks are also gearing up to release brand new works for avid K-Drama fans!

After the K-Drama industry became bigger, reaching a global audience, screenwriters and production teams heralded fierce competition when it came to producing a slew of series.

Here are five upcoming dramas that are set to debut soon. Keep on reading!

'The Devil'

SBS TV's "The Devil" is on standby, finishing its final touches and post-production details.

It stars Kim Tae Ri who plays Gu San Young, a woman possessed by a devil. She becomes a tool for Yeom Hae Sang, played by Oh Jung Se, who seeks the truth behind the mysterious serial killings around their town.

The second half of 2023 will welcome an eerie and thrilling work, much to fans' excitement. Catch "The Devil" on June 17, following the conclusion of "Dr. Romantic 3."

'Mrs. Durian'

Choi Myung Gil and Park Joo Mi decorate the second half of 2023 with the fantasy melodrama "Mrs. Durian"!

The series is set in the Joseon era, and it tells the stories of two women who get entangled with various men in the year 2023 through time travel. With its intriguing premise, fans are on look out for the new work. It will air on June 17 on TV Chosun.

'King the Land'

Perhaps the most anticipated work of the year is Yoona and Lee Junho's rom-com drama "King the Land"!

It's a love story between two clashing individuals. In the drama, Lee Junho is a stoic chaebol while Yoona is a vivacious hotelier who works for the former.

Despite their differences, they learn to love one another. Catch "King the Land" this June 17 after the conclusion of Uhm Jung Hwa's blockbuster drama "Doctor Cha"!

'See You In My 19th Life'

Another romance drama that's already on viewers' must-watch list is Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun's "See You In My 19th Life"!

It's another fantasy romance which follows the romance between a woman who's reincarnated a thousand times and a man whom she wants to meet again in her 19th life.

The work marks Shin Hye Sun's return to the television scene after three years, and her first ever project with Ahn Bo Hyun. Don't miss its premiere on June 17 on tvN!

'Numbers'

INFINITE's Kim Myung Soo also returns to the limelight with MBC's brand new action drama "Numbers"!

The idol-actor transforms into a righteous accountant who only has a high school diploma. Despite his lack of education, he's determined to fight injustice with his wit and amazing action skills.
