Park Joon Geum Expresses Gratitude To 'Doctor Cha' Fans

On May 18, "Doctor Cha" actress Park Joon Geum released a new video on her own YouTube channel and expressed her utmost thanks to fans who supported "Doctor Cha."

The JTBC drama, which tells the story of a housewife who pursues her medical career after 20 years, continues to enjoy skyrocketing popularity every week.

It recently received its new personal best in viewership rating and scored 18%, besting Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi's "Itaewon Class" among other JTBC releases.

In the series, Park Joon Geum plays Kwak Ae Sim, the mother-in-law of Uhm Jung Hwa's Cha Jung Suk. She's a preppy woman who loves luxurious things about beauty and fashion.

To show her gratitude to fans for their undying support, she shared her most memorable experience on the filming set, revealing her co-star Uhm Jung Hwa's kind nature.

Park Joon Geum Shares Anecdote With Uhm Jung Hwa

Park Joon Geum chose the scene where rookie star Lee Seo Yeon who plays Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Byung Chul's daughter had to cry her eyes out as her most unforgettable moment.

According to the actress, the young artist couldn't cry on queue as her tears wouldn't come out. However, Lee Seo Yeon didn't want to use eye drops to fake the crying scene.

Park Joon Geum revealed that Uhm Jung Hwa embraced Lee Seo Yeon tightly evoked mixed emotions from Lee Se Yeon, sending her to tears.

After hugging for about 20 seconds, the director started rolling the cameras. The scene came out a success, and was well-received by the public.

Park Joon Geum also recreated the scene while hugging the doll beside her, complimenting Uhm Jung Hwa's heartwarming personality.
