Lee Yeon Ju was unconscious on the wedding day with Yoo Ji Sun (Cha Hak Yeon). Yoo Je Se (Cheon Ho Jin) tried to avenge his performance by pretending he got injured and allowed Kang Han Soo to save Princess Lee.
After refusing to marry Yoo Ji Sun, Lee Yeon faced the consequences of her decision. The moment she regained consciousness, she immediately apologized to the Grand Queen Dae Bi (Kim Ae Ran) in a trembling voice.
However, thanks to the queen for considering her granddaughter, and instead of giving her severe punishment after getting rid of her throne as a princess, Dae Bi allowed Lee Yeon Ju to have a normal life outside the palace.

Bona & Woo Do Hwan's 'Joseon Attorney' Records Stable Rating During Finale
MBC's "Joseon Attorney" directed by Kim Seung Ho and penned by Choi Jin Young concluded with a happy ending. The drama started with 2.8 percent in the first episode and recorded its own highest viewership rating of 4.4 percent during episode 8.
Woo Do Hwan and Bona's first drama team-up failed to have a high rating on its finale episode, which only scored 2.9 percent.
However, the two protagonists were able to showcase their undeniable chemistry through this historical series.
In particular, idol-actress Bona has shown a variety of her acting through "Joseon Attorney" over the past eight weeks, making her discover another side of her persona that has never seen before.
