Causing a major Internet meltdown, netizens dig deep to check out how stunning the award-winning actor was during his youth.

Netizens Go Crazy as Han Suk Kyu's Past Photos Go Viral

In a Facebook post, an online community shared a series of photos of Han Suk Kyu during his younger years.

Showing off the actor's drool worthy snaps, it featured the actor's past K-dramas and movies where he played various characters.

From his first K-drama lead role in the 1994 series "The Moon of Seoul," where he took on the role as a gigolo, to the action thriller movie "Shiri," where Han Suk Kyu played a special agent named Ryu, the throwback photos showcased how stunning and dapper the actor is.

In the comments section, he was even compared to South Korean heartthrob Choi Woo Shik. Mainly because both of them have that "boy next door" vibe and their bright smiles.

Others also mentioned that he could pass as Jang Dong Yoon's father, while some described him as the "Keannu Reeves of South Korea."

Who Is Han Suk Kyu Besides Being Master Kim in 'Dr. Romantic 3'?

Han Suk Kyu has been in the industry for over three decades after making his debut in 1990.

He managed to solidify his name as one of the industry's most versatile and brightest stars.

Han Suk Kyu never fails to deliver top-notch performances and smash hits movies and K-dramas, just like the iconic role of Kim Sa Bu in "Dr. Romantic 3."

For three seasons, he has been reprising his role as the strict yet compassionate doctor in Doldam Hospital.

Viewers fell in love with his character and how he gives off a very kind and genuine mentorship to his juniors.

However, before becoming Kim Sa Bu, as what viewers have known him, Han Suk Kyu used to be a voice actor at KBS.

He used to be in the choir in high school, and throughout the years, he developed good diction and a clear voice.

During his college years at Dongguk University, where he joined the Film and Theater department, Han Suk Kyu used to be in an amateur folk-rock band.

On the other hand, despite being one of the sought after stars of his generation, he experienced a career slump in early 2000s but managed to regain his career through the success of "Dr. Romantic."
