The Reason Behind Hwang Soo Hyun's Disappearance
In "The Good Bad Mother" episode 13, t is revealed that Hwang Soo Hyun (Ki Eun Se) was abducted by thugs. To save her life, she jumps into the sea to get away from them.
Despite the truth, Choi Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun) lives in hiding as he is racked with guilt. In addition to that, the police continue their investigation.
They even ask the villagers about Choi Kang Ho's mental condition whether it was real or just a fabricated lie to get away.
Meanwhile, Bang Sam Shim (Yoo In Soo) and Lee Mi Joo (Ahn Eun Jin) track down Oh Ha Young (Hong Bi Ra). Song Woo Byeok (Choi Moo Sung) also asks his men to dispatch Choi Kang Ho to avoid further damages.
Oh Ha Young Switches Sides
Lee Mi Joo reveals that she knows Oh Ha Young drugged Choi Kang Ho before. She threatens to confess to her crime in order to save the latter.
However, Oh Ha Young is greatly afraid of his father. Lee Mi Joo then tells her that Oh Tae Soo (Jung Woong In) has already committed murder before, leaving the other in terror.
Lee Mi Joo, Bang Sam Shik and Oh Ha Young then run away as Oh Tae Soo's men come after them. Choi Kang Ho, who's outside the hospital, comes to rescue.

Choi Kang Ho and Oh Ha Young apologize to one another for bringing a huge mess in their lives. He also turns her love down, saying that he has only loved Lee Mi Joo.
Lee Do Hyun Begins Ultimate Revenge Plan
To end their suffering and to finally give his father's death justice, Choi Kang Ho goes on to find the final evidence against Song Woo Byeok.
Lee Mi Joo makes him promise to return alive, and be with her and their twin children together. The two share a passionate kiss, creating a bittersweet atmosphere.
At the end of the episode, Choi Kang Ho ambushes Oh Tae Soo at a conference, leaving the evil assemblyman speechless.
