On June 12, Myung Se Bin released a statement about her involvement in a real estate fraud in hopes to shed light to various reports.
Through her Instagram account, the actress expressed her frustration after a man named Lee who claims to be her fiancé has been committing fraud by scamming real estate agencies.
According to the statement, the unknown man claims that he's about to open a huge business by visiting real estate agencies and expensive furniture shops, and asks newlyweds to invest in it.
To make his story plausible, he uses Myung Se Bin's name to seem legitimate. However, the actress has no plans to remarry yet.

She warns the netizens to be vigilant and not trust strangers. In particular, Cosmo Entertainment, Myung Se Bin's agency, is preparing to take legal action against Lee.
