Viewers were truly entertained by the bromance of Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi in Netflix's "Bloodhounds."

Interestingly, the 31-year-old lead star, who played the role of Hong Woo Jin, spills more details regarding his experience filming the series and working relationship with fellow stars, especially Woo Do Hwan.

Lee Sang Yi Reveals He Got Close With Woo Do Hwan Because of a Mobile Games

During his guest appearance on the MBC variety show "I Live Alone," the actor spoke about his friendship with his "Bloodhounds" co-star. 

According to Lee Sang Yi, he and Woo Do Han spent a lot of time on the makeup set since the team had to do effects like fake blood and bruises. 

"I always shared the makeup bus with Woo Do Hwan," he said, as obtained by a media outlet, revealing that his fellow lead star took a lot of time doing his make up because of his character's scar. 

To recall, one of the scenes in "Bloodhounds" featured an encounter between Kim Gun Woo, played by Woo Do Hwan, and the villain, Kim Myung Gil, portrayed by Park Sung Woong, where the gang boss made a mark on Gun Woo's face using a knife.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yi revealed what they bonded over to pass the time. 

"We had a lot of time talking and playing the same game on my cell phone," he said, adding they became closer because of this and that Woo Do Hwan "is really good at that game."

Apart from having the same interest when it comes to mobile games, Lee Sang Yi also shared that he and Woo Do Hwan are close to some fellow actors. 

"Do Hwan is also close with actors Kim Kyung Nam and Kim Go Eun," he said, adding that there are also a lot of celebrities with whom he has good relationships.

Woo Do Hwan met Kim Kyung Nam and Kim Go Eun during the filming of the hit romance fantasy series "The King: Eternal Monarch."

The K-drama lead star, Lee Min Ho, even met him before enlisting in the military, showing their undeniable closeness. 

Continue to praise, his co-star, Lee Sang Yi, described Woo Do Hwan as someone who shows a lot of passion in his work. 

"When I actually met, rehearsed, and read the script, I had a lot of questions for him," he said, adding, "that means that I have a lot of things I want to do or have a lot of thoughts. I felt, 'Oh, he loves his work.'"

Since "Bloodhounds" is among the first few projects that Woo Do Hwan did after completing his enlistment, Lee Sang Yi says he felt his hunger and passion for filming.
