'Dr Romantic 3' Episode 15: Han Suk Kyu Thanks Doldam Staff for the 'Last Surgery'
As "Dr. Romantic 3" goes into its final week, episode 15 delivered unexpected moments involving the staff and patients at Doldam Hospital.
In addition, Kim Sa Bu and the rest faced the most challenging situation after a forest fire broke out.
Interestingly, as the medical K-drama is set to bid goodbye to viewers, "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 15 sets another milestone before wrapping up the season.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 15 Viewership
In a report, the weekend K-drama remained unbeatable as the top Friday TV program.
Although Neilsen Korea recorded a slight dip in viewership, after "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 15 garnered a nationwide rating of 14.0 percent, it remained the most-watched series for the Friday lineup.
It only means that viewers are hooked on the ending that Kim Sa Bu and the rest of the staff are about to face now that Doldam is in danger.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 15 Recap
The episode began with a bunch of emergency teams heading to Doldam and Trauma Center due to a wildfire that damaged a nearby factory.
Unfortunately, some of the paramedics got injured, including Officer Heo, whom Kim Sa Bu and Doldam staff knew.
Due to this, Seo Woo Jin talked to Cha Eun Jae and the rest of the staff, who are on strike because of Dr. Kang. He reminded everyone that the patients need their help, especially in this kind of situation.
Thankfully, Cha Eun Jae, Nurse Joo, and the rest of the staff thought about the patient and their colleagues' well being instead of their own intentions.
At this point, the medical staff were able to respond to the patients; however, Dr. Jung In Soo was heartbroken after he failed to save a young rescuer who died due to severe injuries.

On the other hand, paramedic Heo needs joint surgery and will be attended by Dr. Kang, Seo Woo Jin, Cha Eun Jae, and Dr. Ung.
However, Kim Sa Bu received devastating news after a fire marshal warned them to evacuate the area as soon as possible since the direction of the wind changed. Due to this, the wildfire might head to Doldam's area in less than an hour.
At this point, some of the patients were transferred to nearby hospitals, but the team had to proceed with the paramedic's surgery.
In the middle of the surgery, Dr. Nam Do Il called Kim Sa Bu for help since paramedic Heo was in bad shape.
Kim Sa Bu, being a neurologist as well, successfully operated on the patient.
After the surgery, the medical staff seemed confused by what Kim Sa Bu said.
He thanked everyone for having a successful surgery and called them the best team.
Moreover, he also expressed his gratitude for having the "best team" for his last operation.
As patient Heo was transferred to the ambulance along with Dr. Nam Do Il and Dr. Jung, Nurse Park saw Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae asking about Kim Sa Bu, who was left at the Trauma Center.
At this point, it seemed like Kim Sa Bu couldn't bear the fact that his passion project, the Trauma Center, would no longer serve its purpose due to the fire.
