Following the bombshell rumor about Park Seo Joon's relationship, YouTuber and singer xooos has been getting massive hate online because of her involvement with the top star.
It was after a media outlet reported news from an industry insider about the "Itaewon Class" star's dating status. xooos reportedly met the actor after they were introduced to each other by their close friends and went on a series of dates like a normal couple.
Following this, Park Seo Joon's agency, Awesome ENT, immediately addressed the rumor with a brief statement.
"It's difficult to confirm nor deny what's going on in an actor's personal life," a representative said, as obtained by a media outlet.
Since then, all eyes have been on Park Seo Joon's rumored girlfriend, xooos, who has been getting a lot of mixed reactions from the public.

Due to her alleged relationship with the actor, fans got curious about her, and there has been a sudden increase in her social media followers.
Right before the news broke, xooos' Instagram following was at around 600,000, and now, her account has reached around 780,000 and counting.
Unfortunately, she is also receiving negative reactions, especially from fans. xooos is getting criticized because of the rumored relationship with Park Seo Joon and how she "doesn't suit" the top star. She was also accused of using the actor for attention.
According to a media outlet, some speculate that the dating rumor was part of a promotion given that the 34-year-old star has an upcoming movie.

Just days after the rumors began to circulate, Park Seo Joon briefly talked about his relationship status during the "Concrete Utopia" press conference.
When asked about xooos, the actor said that because of his busy schedule, he heard about the news quite late.
"After hearing the news, I thought, 'I'm receiving a lot of attention. It's a grateful thing,'" he said, adding, "I feel burdened about revealing my private life, and since it's a personal matter, it's difficult to say anything."
Instead, he diverted the questions relating to his new movie and hoped that the public would "take an interest" in his latest project.

Before being known as Park Seo Joon's girlfriend, xooos, whose real name is Hong Soo Yeon, was a YouTuber with 1.58 million subscribers. Her content focuses on song covers and random vlogs about her daily life.
One of her most-viewed YouTube videos is a cover of Charlie Puth's "Light Switch."
Apart from the South Korean actor, she is also friends with BLACKPINK's Jennie, who also made a cameo on xooos' Instagram feed.
