Kim Jae Won Steals Spotlight With His New Role in 'King the Land'

As Hallyu gets bigger every year, a bunch of promising Korean stars are making their way to establish a name in the industry. Among them is Kim Jae Won. He currently appears in the high-rated series "King the Land."

He plays the role of Lee Ro Woon, a charming and gentlemanly flight attendant at King Air. The young star immediately caught the viewers' attention with his appearance and performance in the drama. 

Kim Jae Won instantly became a scene-stealer for his striking visuals and good height. Many also find his character cute, who is always there to assist and care for his senior colleague, Oh Pyeong Hwa (Go Won Hee). 

Their on-screen chemistry also makes the audience swoon and demand more of their skinship.

The 24-year-old heartthrob made his acting debut in the star-studded tvN series "Our Blues," where he played the young version of Cha Seung Won's character Choi Han Su. In the same year, he landed another project where he headlined the KBS "Drama Special: Nineteen Others."

At the beginning of 2023, Kim Jae Won appeared in tvN's spy series "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper." 

As he continues to propel his career in acting, Kim Jae Won is showcasing a good performance in "King the Land." Interestingly, even though the series just debuted, the scene-stealer is already booked for a new project. 

Kim Jae Won is confirmed to join the cast of Netflix's upcoming drama "Hierarchy." It is a high-teen series that will narrate the journey of teenagers about love, jealousy, friendship, and the stories that unfold at Jooshin High School where the top 0.01 percent of the students have gathered. 

He will share the frame with other young stars namely Noh Jung Ui, who starred in "Our Beloved Summer" and "18 Again," "Crash Course in Romance" actor Lee Chae Min, Ji Hye Won, and Lee Won Jung. 

The campus-themed K-drama is scheduled to meet viewers beginning in 2024 on Netflix.
