‘Heartbeat’ Episode 5: Ok Taecyeon Plans to Make Won Ji An Fall for Him
In "Heartbeat" episode 5, Seon Woo Yeol (Ok Taecyeon) is determined to become a full human being and to fulfill it, he plans of making Joo In Hae (Won Ji An) fall for him as she's the only person who can help him solve the curse.
'Heartbeat' Episode 5: Seon Woo Yeol Begins His Agenda to Joo In Hae
In "Heartbeat" episode 5, Seon Woo Yeol opened up to Joo In Hae about his first love, Yoon Hae Sun (Yoon So Hee). He also expressed his honest thoughts that he could see and feel Hae Sun in Joo In Hae.
As the conversation continued, Joo In Hae responded realistically to him by comparing her life from the past and present, as she's already having a hard time supporting herself.
Seon Woo Yeol was taken aback by what his housemate said.
Due to their almost heated debate, Seon Woo Yeol went to Lee Sang Hee (Yoon Byung Hee) and Park Dong Seop (Go Kyu Pil) to share his concerns. He then conspired to make Joo In Hae fall in love with him so he can drink her blood and become a real human.

Woo Yeol delivered a bouquet to Joo In Hae. He made various efforts to show his affection to her, but the cold-blooded human responded to him coldly and was even on the verge of reporting him to the police for his suspicious act.
Joo In Hae & Seon Woo Yeol Mistaken as Newlyweds
Goyang Nam (Kim In Kwon) appeared in front of Seon Woo Yeol, again, who was at a loss for his agenda. He gave him advice and should sincerely apply it if he wants to succeed in transforming into a human.
Meanwhile, Seon Woo Yeol and Joo In Hae are mistaken as newlyweds by their neighbors. Ko Ki Sook (Baek Hyun Joo), who delivered an order to Woo Yeol, asked if they were newlyweds, Joo In Hae who was with him was embarrassed and explained why they are cohabitating.
Back in campus, Joo In Hae was on the verge of being unemployed as her health teacher's renewal contract failed. She decided to drink alone at the wine bar of Shin Do Sik (Park Kang Hyun).
Shin Do Sik saw her and watched her from afar as he didn't want to bother her. He even followed her home to make sure she was safe.
Joo In Hae Discovers Yoon Hae Sun's Portrait
When she returned home drunk, she confessed to Seon Woo Yeol about her past. She was tearing up and Woo Yeol sincerely listened and consoled her.
The next day, she got sick and Seon Woo Yeol got overly worried for her. He did not leave her side until she regained her energy.
Before the episode ended, Joo In Hae saw a scroll inside the house and showed it to Seon Woo Yeol.
It was Yoon Hae Sun's portrait, and both of them were surprised.
