SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "The Heirs" which aired its final episode yesterday has been attracting the attention of the male and female audiences. "The Heirs" dealt with the stereotypical subjects such as the triangle love relationship, the disapproval of marriage between a middle class girl and a man from a conglomerate family, and the power struggle between the brothers in terms of the family business. However, "The Heirs" showed these what could have been stereotypical stories in the perspectives of the teenagers, Empire High School students to be more specific, giving fresh perspectives to the overused subjects.
While the female audiences liked to see actors Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin on the screen, and how the two fought for one girl, Cha Eun Sang, played by Park Shin Hye, the male audiences enjoyed the power struggle and competition between Kim Tan, played by Lee Min Ho, and his older brother Kim Won.
For the best scenes of "The Heirs," female audiences picked the scenes where Choi Young Do, a cold brutal man, was endlessly warm and caring to Cha Eun Sang, when Kim Tan cried when he met with Cha Eun Sang, and when Kim Tan and Choi Young Do watched a movie together on a laptop sharing an earplug. The male audiences picked the rivalry of Kim Tan and Choi Young Do, and the tragedy of step brothers of Kim Won and Kim Tan as the best scenes of "The Heirs."
