The long wait is over as "The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch" finally arrived to the television with the OG crew Jo Byung Gyu, Kim Sejeong, and more. In episode 1, the Counters tried to level with the higher-ups and asked for their help. 

Counters Return To Save The Day

"The Uncanny Counter" Season 2 begins with the Counters returning to take down an evil spirit who dressed up as a school bus driver.

The evil spirit spreads chaos all over the city. Thankfully, So Mun (Jo Byung Gyu) arrives to save the day.

They then complain about the lack of help that has put extra pressure on each of them. While the Spirits Immigration Office understands their sentiments, the Counters are told to only hire the perfect addition to their team.

Meanwhile, Ga Mo Tak (Yoo Jun Sang) lacks behind while everyone improves. Despite that, he doesn't give up.

Counters Realize Something About Evil Spirits

In episode 1, So Mun and Do Ha Na (Kim Sejeong) encounter a child in trouble on their way to deliver some kimchi. They then move quickly to save the mother and son from their abuser.

Meanwhile, Ma Joo Seok (Jin Seon Kyu), So Mun's acquaintance, and his wife learn about the fraud that took their savings of more than ten years.

It turns out that two evil spirits who are in China did the scheme as the camera pans to them rejoicing about the news.

The Counters who are in the area try to get rid of them but they soon fail as a third spirit joins the fun and absorbs the Counters' powers.

What Will Happen To The Counters?

Counters who are in Seoul hear about the news, leaving them speechless. They realize the imminent danger that is not easy for them to handle.

They once again ask for the Spirit Immigration Office's help before leaving to prepare themselves for their battle against the evil spirits.

At the end of the episode, the mother and son duo saved by So Mun and Do Ha Na get into trouble again when loan sharks arrive to claim their organs due to unpaid debt. The Counters arrive on time, saving the day once again.
