‘The Uncanny Counter 2’ Episode 2: Jo Byung Gyu Meets Kang Ki Young’s Evil Team
The Counters meet the newest addition to their family in "The Uncanny Counter 2" episode 2. Unfortunately, the team is forced to face the most dangerous forces led by a powerful spirit. Will they take them down?
'The Uncanny Counter 2' Episode 2: Prospect For The Newest Counter
"The Uncanny Counter 2" Episode 2 begins with So Mun (Jo Byung Gyu) and Chu Mae Ok (Yeom Hye Ran) making arrangements for the mother and son duo that were saved by their fellow Counters.
A young man named Na Jeok Beong (Yoo In Soo) caters to his cows before he leaves for a blind date. Unfortunately, everything goes downhill when they don't get along.
When the woman runs away from him, a truck rushes towards her director. Na Jeok Beong then runs to save her life.
Ga Mo Tak (Yoo Jun Sang), who witnessed what happened, tells Wi Gen (Moon Sook) that he wants Na Jeok Beong as their new Counter.
Ma Joo Seok's Painful Loss
Ma Joo Seok (Jin Seon Kyu) and his wife lose the trial against the fraudulent scammers who stole their savings.
Devastated, she waits outside in vain.
She suddenly feels pain in her abdomen and decides to leave but she is unfortunately captured by evil spirits Hwang Pil Kwang (Kang Ki Young), Gelli Berherd (Kim Hieora), and Wang Li Qiang (Kim Hyun Wook).
Unable to run away, she is soon harmed by them.
Meanwhile, Ma Joo Seok witnesses her final moments.
So Mun and the other Counters are saddened by the news.
Elsewhere, the three evil spirits rejoice after having gotten the money from the couple.
Counters' Gleam of Hope
Na Jeok Beong finally agrees to become a Counter, which lightens the mood a bit. He is welcomed to the team while Do Ha Na (Kim Sejeong) becomes his mentor.
The evil spirits continue to torture people in exchange for money. Do Ha Na, who detects this, arrives at the site along the Counters.

They engage in a bloodbath and while Wang Li Qiang surges forward, Do Ha Na breaks into his mind as she is able to see his memories.
Who Is Hwang Pil Kwang?
Once they defeated the evil spirits, Do Ha Na reveals that Wang Li Qiang is the one who killed the victim they saw in China.
They also discover that Ma Joo Seok's wife was brutally murdered by Hwang Pil Kwang. Because of this, the Counters feel the rage inside them.
As they prepare to take down the three evil spirits, Hwang Pil Kwang enters their restaurant with a smug look on his face.
