Song Joong-ki, a South Korean actor, is expected to come back to KBS TV in "Love Cloud" after about 10 years' absence from KBS. In "Love Cloud", Song plays Kang Woo-joo, a former flight instructor turned air traffic controller, who reunites with Ahn Ha-nee, portrayed by Park Ji-hyun, a prospective pilot. This production will take place on Jeju Island and feature themes of both love and airplanes.

Director Song Min-yeop, known for his work on KBS dramas "Youth in May" and "Doctor Prisoner', will helm 'Love Cloud". The script is written by rookie writers Mad Rabbit. Industry insiders anticipate that Song Min-yeop's nuanced directing style will bring depth to this romantic comedy, a genre where Song Joong-ki has excelled in the past through hits like "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and "Descendants of the Sun' earning him the moniker "Rom-Com King."
Off-screen, Song Joong-ki recently married Katie Lewis Saunders and is a father of two. The couple actively participates in social causes and recently appeared together as commentators at a concert for the Day of Persons with Disabilities.
