'Revenant' Episodes 11-12: Goo San Young Kills Yeom Hae Sang's Grandmother

Along with Yeom Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se) and Lee Hong Sae (Hong Kyung), Goo San Young (Kim Tae Ri) continues to investigate the evil spirit in "Revenant" Episodes 11-12.

She pretends like she is possessed as she visits Yeom Hae Sang's grandmother. During the conversation, Na Byung Hee (Kim Hae Sook) reveals the name of the evil spirit inside her.

Later that night, the evil spirit that possesses Goo San Young plans to murder Yeom Hae Sang, Lee Hong Sae and her own mother.

Because of this, Goo San Young takes a glass shard and threatens that if the evil spirit kills her mother, she will also kill herself. The evil spirit then stops and possesses her to kill Yeom Hae Sang's grandmother instead.

Lee Hong Sae Learns About Lee Hyang Gi's Identity

Lee Hong Sae retrieves details about the spirit that possesses Yeom Hae Sang's grandmother. It is revealed that Lee Hyang Gi (Shim Dal Gi) was swapped in place with her sister who is about to die.

Because of this, she decides to starve Lee Hyang Gi which makes her a very evil spirit that's much stronger than her sister.

When the team finds her bones, Goo San Young kills Yeom Hae Sang's grandmother. They then give Lee Hyang Gi a proper burial to put her to eternal rest.

What's Wrong With Goo San Young?

Goo San Young runs to her mother's cafe after the evil shadow leaves. However, Yoon Gyeong Moon (Park Ji Young) realizes that she's not her daughter.

It is revealed that Lee Hyang Gi took over Goo San Young's body. Yeom Hae Sang then searches for the objects that the spirit has cursed.

He learns that Goo San Young has become the shadow after Lee Hyang Gi stole her body. Yoon Gyeong Moon reveals that the evil spirit asked her to kill him to save her daughter.

To stop the possession, Lee Hong Sae searches for Lee Hyang Gi's body parts and destroys them. When the spirit tries to leave, Goo San Young traps her in the mirror.

Goo San Young Finally Finds Freedom

At the end of the episode, Goo San Young finally completes her life's bucket list. Yeom Hae Sang donates all his family's wealth to charity.

Meanwhile, Lee Hong Sae continues to work at the police department, and helps clear off the cases involving Goo San Young.

Yeom Hae Sang takes Goo San Young to a fireworks festival and wishes the best for the other. The drama ends with the latter going completely blind after enjoying the colorful night sky.
