Lee Jae Wook & Jo Bo Ah’s New Drama ‘Tangeum’ Begins Filming In THIS Month
Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah's forthcoming series "Tangeum" raised the tension among the audiences as it finally announced its production.
The two actors, who made headlines with their works "Alchemy of Souls" and "Military Prosecutor Doberman," work together for the first time to fans' excitement.
'Tangeum' To Begin Filming This Summer
On August 2, media outlets reported that Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah's historical drama "Tangeum" will begin its production this summer.
Based on the novel of the same name, "Tangeum" follows a complicated romance that involves a surrogate woman and a nobleman's daughter and a young man who was born to the same nobleman through his wife.
Earlier this year, Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah were confirmed as the main leads of the work, taking on the roles of Hong Rang and Jae Yi, respectively.
Kim Jae Wook and Jung Ga Ram were also cast as the second lead couple, which heightened the excitement of the fans.

"Tangeum" will be directed by "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" director Kim Hong Seon, and filming will begin at the later half of August until March of next year.
While the official release of the work hasn't been confirmed yet, "Tangeum" is expected to air in early 2024 after the drama completes its post production phase.
