After two long years, the highly loved action-comedy series "The Uncanny Counter" returned for Season 2.

Much to fans' satisfaction, the OG cast Jo Byung Gyu, Kim Sejeong, and more reprised their roles. Kang Ki Young and Kim Hieora's addition to the group also delighted the viewers.

With this, the tvN series unlocked a milestone within its second week of broadcast. 

'The Uncanny Counter 2' Tops Netflix Global Charts

On July 29, the thriller series "The Uncanny Counter 2" finally made its debut on terrestrial television after a long wait.

It is a direct sequel to the 2021 series of the same name, which tells the lives of Counters or paranormal hunters that take down the evil spirits that prey on humans.

Many viewers waited for the new installment and thankfully, it didn't disappoint. So far, "The Uncanny Counter 2" delivers a worthwhile watching experience every weekend.

For two consecutive weeks, the drama enjoyed its impressive rating streak, which has an average score of 4.9%. It even secured the No. 1 spot in the Netflix Global Charts, besting "D.P. 2" and "King the Land."

It also ranked first in many Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia and more, which showcases its thriving status as it airs.

"The Uncanny Counter 2" also bested its predecessor, giving Season 1 a run for its money. With that said, Season 2 is predicted to go beyond a new milestone in no time.

What To Expect from 'The Uncanny Counter 2' New Episodes

The first two weeks of the series have exceeded the public's expectations and because of that, there's nowhere to go but up.

Viewers expect the tvN series to depict more gravity-defying stunts from both the Counters and the evil spirits, which often go into a powerful brawl against one another.

In addition, the friendship and new bonds between the Counters played by Jo Byung Gyu, Kim Sejeong, Yeom Hye Ran, Yoo Jun Sang, Yoo In Soo and more are also a factor to look forward to in the series.
