After reuniting with their youngest Counter Yoo In Soo, Jo Byung Gyu, Kim Sejeong and the rest of the Counters come to aid their friend Jin Seon Kyu.

'The Uncanny Counter 2' Episode 5: Hwang Pil Kwan Takes Interest In Ma Joo Seok
"The Uncanny Counter 2" Episode 5 begins with Hwang Pil Kwang's (Kang Ki Young) interest in Ma Joo Seok (Jin Seon Kyu).
To recall, an evil spirit previously possessed him after losing his beloved wife. So Mun (Jo Byung Gyu) tries to comfort him but he refuses.

Hwang Pil Kwang then visits Ma Joo Seok in jail to provoke him, hoping to unleash the potential evil inside him.

Counters Find the Money Scheme Culprit
The Counters come together to plan on how to get rid of the evil spirits and finally bring Ma Joo Seok's peace.
Na Jeok Beong (Yoo In Soo) unfortunately smells Gelli Berherd (Kim Hieora) nearby, which leads them to a faraway building.
The Counters get in a fight with the evil spirits and they soon realize that Hwang Pil Kwang and Gelli Berherd were the ones behind the money laundering case involving Ma Joo Seok.

The next day, So Mun arrives at the prison to deliver some necessities to Ma Joo Seok. The alarm then goes off as the latter flies out of prison as an evil spirit with an undeniable thirst for blood.
