In a Twitter post by Viral Takes, it named the top 10 celebrities who are considered "influencial" in South Korea, according to HypeAuditor, an AI-powered influencer marketing platform. 

Cha Eun Woo ranked first as the most influential actor in South Korea.

He made his debut as a member of the K-pop group Astro but managed to make a name for himself as an actor with several hit K-dramas under his belt. Among which is "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty" in 2018, which was considered his big break as an actor. Adding to Cha Eun Woo's drama list is the 2020 series "True Beauty," followed by "Island" in 2022.

Besides this, he also has a large following on social media, with almost 40 million followers. This is also the reason why fashion brands love Cha Eun Woo. 

He is one of the global ambassadors for Dior Beauty and Burberry. 

Following Cha Eun Woo, joining as second place is non other than Lee Min Ho, the OG South Korean hearthrob lands second as most influential person in the country. 

Apart from his hit series like "Boys Over Flowers," "City Hunter," "The Heirs," "The Legend of the Blue Sea" and more, Lee Min Ho reached global fame following the huge success of "Pachinko."

In addition to his 33.6 million Instagram followers and counting, the 36-year-old actor is hailed as the brand ambassador of top tier luxury brands like Fendi and Hugo Boss.

Amid Cha Eun Woo and Lee Min Ho's reign, only 3 female stars made it to the top 10 most influential actors in South Korea. 

Landing in 6th place is the Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 Best Actress Song Hye Kyo.

She recently made headlines after portraying the iconic character Moon Dong Eun in the hit K-drama "The Glory."

Joining at top 7 is Girls' Generation YoonA. The 33-year-old singer-actress stars in two back-to-back blockbuster series, the first is "Big Mouth" in 2022, followed by the recently concluded "King the Land" in 2023.

Last on the list is Sakura Miyawaki, a Japanese singer and actress based in South Korea and member of the girl group LE SSERAFIM.
