Seol In Ah, Choi Hyun Wook’s ‘Twinkling Watermelon’ To Premiere In THIS Month
From "Alchemy of Souls" to "My Lovely Liar," broadcast network tvN has been offering high quality fantasy series every quarter. This fall, the brand new series "Twinkling Watermelon," starring Ryeoun, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah, and Shin Eun Soo, will greet the viewers with promising elements.
'Twinkling Watermelon' Shares Glimpse Into the New Series
On August 18, tvN raised the anticipation index to a new level for the upcoming fantasy-teen romance series "Twinkling Watermelon" with its new set of teasers.
Starring Ryeoun, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah, and Shin Eun Soo, the drama tells the story of a CODA (child of deaf adult) who travels through time using the gift of music.
In a suspicious music shop, a new band called Watermelon Sugar is born, singing about the mysteries of the youth.
Ahead of its release, a glimpse into the quartet is shared much to the fans' delight. In the photos, the cast of the drama rehearse together as they read the script with enthusiasm.
Ryeoun seamlessly transforms into Eun Gyeol, the only person who is able to hear in his deaf family. He's a model student who dreams of forming his own band to pursue his love for music.
Meanwhile, Choi Hyun Wook joins the team as Lee Chan, a timid student who grew up in the loving arms of his grandmother. Seol In Ah transforms into cello goddess Se Kyung while Shin Eun Soo portrays ice princess Chung Ah who's deaf since birth.

With their previous works like "Business Proposal" and "Twenty Five, Twenty One," the public expects to see a beautifully helmed story laced with the cast's immersive acting.
The production unit includes screenwriter Jin Soo Wan and directors Son Jung Hyun and Yoo Beom Sang, raising the expectation index to a different high.
