‘Destined With You’ Episodes 1-2: Jo Bo Ah Entangled With Rowoon After Receiving Mysterious Wooden Box

'Destined With You' Episode 1: Jang Shin Yu Meets Owner of Mysterious Wooden Box
The righteous civil servant Lee Hong Jo is not afraid to take responsibility, while Jang Shin Yu is a sharp lawyer whose eyes miss no detail.
It was shown that a bloody red hand was touching his face and he was communicating with it, presumably a curse that he's been dealing with and might be the reason for suffering from a brain genetic disorder.
Despite doing a good performance at work, Lee Hong Jo was transferred to Onju City Hall, where she had a bad experience. However, she met Kwon Jae Kyung (Ha Jun), and instantly fell for his charm and saved him from a protester who tried to attack him.
After her transfer, she ended up taking a big responsibility of demolishing an abandoned haunted shrine after a YouTuber died there. The shrine has a connection to Shin Yu's family, who owns the property. She tried her best to convince Shin Yu to demolish the shrine.
However, it was not easy for her as the two had bad impressions of each other after their unexpected meeting at the shrine.

According to the lawyer, she needed the shaman's permission to demolish the place, which she did and shocked Jang Shin Yu.
He then visited the shaman and had a mysterious conversation that all his pain and suffering would vanish once the wooden box hidden at the shrine reached the owner, who happened to be Lee Hong Jo.
'Destined With You' Episode 2: Did Jang Shin Yu Fall From Lee Jong Ho's Spell?
Jang Shin Yu found the mysterious wooden box and handed it to Lee Hong Jo, and explained she was the owner of it as said by the shaman, Eun Wol (Kim Hyeok). The box is an antique that existed 300 years ago.
At home, she tried to open it but failed after several attempts. Knowing that the box holds an important answer for Jang Shin Yu, he called her and continued to pester her to open it.
Meanwhile, back at the office, Hong Jo still struggled to be close to her colleagues and felt like an outcast. She then received another call from Shin Yu asking about the box.
Later on, she called him via video call to showcase how the box wasn't opening despite her multiple attempts to unlock it.
Amid all this, Jang Shin Yu received an offer from Kwon Jae Kyung to work as the lawyer of the city hall and help the place win cases against big corporations.
After consideration, he resigned from the Law & High firm and began working at Onju City Hall, where he crossed paths with Hong Jo.
Lee Hong Jo Unlocks the Msyerious Box
Later on, Lee Hong Jo effortlessly unlocked the wooden box and found a book full of spells. He told Jang Shin Yu about it and wanted to see the book.
He went to her house and saw the spell that could help him cure the curse in him. He asked Hong Jo if she could give that specific spell to him.
Seeing the worries and sincerity in his eyes, Lee Hong Jo had no choice but to take care of the book.
Meanwhile, Hong Jo had the chance to have dinner with her colleagues along with Kwon Jae Kyung and the newest employee Jang Shin Yu. After their previous confrontation, the two get awkward with each other.
Hong Jo, who was drunk, accidentally confessed to Kwon Jae Kyung but got rejected, which urged her to do the love spell and make him fall in love with her.
However, as she did the ritual, Jang Shin Yu was seen being affected by it.
